Conversations that Matter

An invitation for you – as part of my two-year life project “New Ways to Break the Paradox of Modern Happiness.”

Far too many people today are struggling with their well-being in modern work and life. Let’s explore what happens when the latest insights from coaching and psychology meet the wisdom of Eastern traditions.

  • A space for sharing experiences, ideas, and perspectives.
  • Guided by curiosity — not by a fixed agenda.

I warmly hope you will consider joining

.What to expect

  • A short guide with possible questions will be shared beforehand.  Not as limitations, but as inspiration for our exchange.
  • No recordings, no formal note-taking.
  • An open, friendly setting to reflect and discover together.

And who knows? Along the way, new opportunities may arise: A workshop. A contribution to a book project.  Perhaps even a conversation on a podcast.

This essay was originally inspired by Denmark — a country often ranked among the happiest in the world. But the same questions now echo across Europe and  beyond: How well are we really doing at work? And what have we forgotten about being human? Here are five ideas to break the cycle. This essay is rooted in my book “The Power of the Smile” and was first published in POV International.

Because sometimes, one real conversation is all it takes to change direction

In just a few short years, I have been profoundly surprised by what I discovered through yoga. Not just on the mat — in the studio, in movement, in silence, in meditation — but also in the vast body of knowledge that lies beneath the surface. The people I have met, their life stories, their presence — all of it has left a mark.

Yoga opened my eyes to the timeless wisdom of the East — wisdom that brought me back to life, stronger and more whole. From burnout, house fire and serious illness – to a whole new beginning.

I believe something essential is emerging in these spaces, connecting beautifully with my work around the power of the smile.

What if we could bring even a spark of that wisdom into our lives, our work, and our culture? Could we begin to uncover new solutions to the challenges of the modern Western world.

That is why I am dedicating the next two years to exploring Eastern wisdom — as a curious human being. I will travel. I will meet people. I will host open, honest conversations.

I will speak with people just like you and me about what Eastern wisdom brings to their lives — in big ways, in small ways. I will speak with passionate teachers, with those who have chosen to live differently, with people who believe in Eastern mysticism and spirituality.

My journey begins at one of the world’s largest yoga festivals in Sweden, followed by a retreat and study tour in Portugal. Along the way, I hope to share stories, host workshops, and maybe even write my third book.

I am keeping my plans deliberately open. To stay fully present. To listen. To be available to whatever — and whoever (you?) — shows up on the path.
